Dr. Kayla Nguyen joined our group in Jan 2019! During her PhD, Kayla developed a new electron detector for scanning transmission electron microscopy, and she was awarded the Lemeson-MIT Inventor’s prize. Kayla recently delivered a TEDx talk on the EMPAD detector in Vienna.
